GEARED UP KEN GRIFFEY JR

What started as a dinner out with friends led to an idea to create a custom M2 MOSAir for one of the most iconic athletes in the history of baseball. Known for his leaping-over-the-wall catches and iconic power-packed home run swing, Ken Griffey, Jr. is a front-runner when it comes to being one of the best players baseball has ever seen. Todd Peverill, VP of PEV’s Paintball, became friends with Ken, as Ken was already an avid paintball player. Fast forward to DYE engineer Billy Wing stepping in, and soon after DYE’s entire design team was in the mix to carefully craft a completely custom M2 MOSAir properly commemorating the career for one of baseball’s all-time greats.

Ken finished his career having unmatched records such as 630 home runs, 1,836 runs batted in, and 10 gold gloves just to name a few. It was important to the DYE team to display these incredible stats in a way that perfectly encapsulated his 22-year baseball career. As you follow along down the Ultralite barrel, across the M2 MOSAir body, and throughout, you’ll see a rolling range of PGA anodized stats, milled cuts of Ken’s signature “SWINGMAN” logo, a combination of blue, silver, and green for an aesthetically pleasing color scheme and more. As one of DYE’s most enjoyable projects yet, we’re proud to give you an up-close look at Ken Griffey Jr’s personal M2 MOSAir gun that commemorates Ken’s legendary career and Hall of Fame induction.
