SCOTT KEMP IN MEXICO

Professional Ironmen player Scott Kemp stepped out of his normal routine of training at the airball field to take a trip down to Mexico for one of the country's largest scenario events, Battle of Stars. Here's what Scott had to say about it -

Rosarito, Mexico had a big walk-on game this last weekend called #BatallaDeEstrellas  or #BattleofStars organized by Border Paintball Store. Valken invited myself, along with Ryan Greenspan, Kali Rudulph, Matty Marshall, and Davey Williamson to come join in on the fun! Luckily for me and all of the other San Diego guys, it’s only an hour drive south for us. I’ve been to Mexico a dozen of times for the MPL and other events, but this was something different. It wasn’t your normal tournament. This was a massive game! The type of paintball that I grew up on. Games with 50 on 50, 100 on 100, which could last 45-minutes to an hour long! This game had players from all-ages and skill levels. It’s all about getting out there and having fun with new faces! We met hundreds of local Mexican players this last weekend who were just as stoked to play with us as I were with them. It’s always a blast coming down to Mexico for paintball. The food, culture, and hospitality is incredible. The event went on all weekend long with hundreds of players showing up. This owners of this event were very thrilled with the turnout as were the players. This was the first #Batalladeestrellas event and by the sound of things, it won’t be the last! I can’t wait to make the trip back down!     - Scott Kemp #86 of Los Angeles Ironmen
