SYDNEY EXPLICIT SUPER7S RECAP

Sydney Explicit checks in with a recap of their 3rd place podium finish at stop two of the Super7s Series in Australia -

Round two of the Super7s Series at Action Paintball in Australia has come and gone, and we walked away with 3rd place. It's definitely not the spot on the podium we were hoping for, but it gives us more fire in our bellies to get up to the top step for the next round.

This round we brought Bobby Aviles from Los Angeles Ironmen over to help out. As usual, we weren't disappointed with what he brought to the team. Bobby is such a genuine, professional guy that gives his all to the team he's playing for. See you again soon, Bobz.

The Saturday started off with us losing our first two matches against Perth Crisis, eventual tournament winners, and Sydney Swat, who are always tough competitors. We then won our next three games against The Expendables, Marauders, and Raw. With finishing the day off well, we were ready to smash out a Sunday session!

Our first game on Sunday was again against Perth Crisis. This time after a bit of studying the night before, we were able to take out a convincing 3-0 victory against them - the only loss they would suffer all tournament. Our second game was against Swat, who had our number again.

Finals time comes playing against Swat for the third time. They definitely had a game plan to counter whatever we could throw at them and they defeated in a very close game yet again. Thanks guys. So, that left us playing team Expendables for 3rd or 4th place. What a game it was! They bolted to a 2-0 lead, then 2-1, and then 3-1. After that, we got another point to bring it to 3-2, with 1:38 left on the game clock. A couple quick G's allowed us to take the point with eight seconds left on the clock.

Into a five minute overtime golden point we go. It was back and forth with players leaving the field one by one. With two minutes left on the clock, it came down to a 2 on 1. Bobby and Jarrahd were left against Matt Kling. With some good communication and team work, the boys got it over Klinga and we came away with the win.

The next round is less than eight weeks away. Be sure to tune in to the live webcast and watch all the action as it happens!

Massive thank you to our FLASH who made sure our guns where shooting smooth all weekend.          - Sydney Explicit
