The NXL Lone Star Layout

Texas is calling.

The next stop on the NXL schedule is the Lone Star Open, and with a new field layout comes a fresh set of challenges for teams heading into Texas.

The event runs September 17–20 in Garland, Texas, with Thursday serving as the main practice/setup day before competition ramps up Friday through Sunday.

The layout brings a balanced mix of bunkers and lanes that should create plenty of opportunities for aggressive moves, calculated attacks, and battles for key positions across the field. With the field now revealed, teams have their first look at what they'll be working with as they prepare for another important weekend of competition.

For players, a new layout means more than learning bunker positions. It's about figuring out how the field plays...where the pressure points develop, which lanes open up, when to make the move, and how to turn a small advantage into a point.

MORE THAN JUST THE PRO FIELD

While the Pro division will get plenty of attention, the Lone Star Open is a full weekend of competition across multiple formats and divisions. From Pro and Semi-Pro X-Ball to 5v5, 3v3, Classic 5v5 and 7v7, and Amateur 10v10, there will be plenty of paintball happening across the event grounds.

Thursday kicks things off with practice sessions, registration, a tradeshow, a Tech Workshop and a Coaches Show Clinic. From Friday through Sunday, the event moves into full competition with Pro and divisional games, along with Classic and Amateur formats.

When the game moves fast, your gear needs to keep up. From the consistency of the DSR Pro to the performance of the MXR, the Lone Star Open is another weekend where equipment gets put to work.

We'll be be on-site throughout the Lone Star Open with a pop-up shop featuring our full collection of DYE products, giving players the opportunity to check out and purchase the latest gear in person.

We'll also have DYE Player Support on-site to help keep players dialed in throughout the event. From technical support to product questions and everything in between, our team will be there to support the players and teams competing at one of the biggest events on the NXL calendar.
